In 2006, Nemeth Burwell, P.C. was honored as one of the "101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For" according to the Michigan Business and Professional Association (MBPA). Nemeth Burwell, P.C. was one of four law firms to receive this honor. MBPA has been presenting these awards since 2001, and Nemeth Burwell, P.C. has been honored each year since.
In 2003, Crain's Detroit Business and IRI Consultants to Management awarded Nemeth Burwell, P.C. with the distinct honor of being rated one of the "Top Ten Best Places to Work in Southeastern Michigan" for the second time. The Firm was previously honored in 2001. From the over two hundred and fifty companies nominated for this award in 2003, Nemeth Burwell, P.C. was one of ten chosen - and the only law firm to receive such a prestigious award. In addition, we also won the award for Organizational Performance - which is based on compensation and benefits, growth and revenue, and diversity in ownership.
In 2002, the National Association of Women Business Owners recognized Patricia Nemeth as one of the Top 10 Women Business Owners in Michigan. The criteria on which this selection was made included leadership qualities that made an economic impact on the community and/or public policy, a developed ability to overcome professional or economic challenges, and qualities demonstrating the business owner is an outstanding role model for other women.
